I sculpted this ostrich family from life at an ostrich farm near Nylstroom in South Africa.The male ostrich is leading the family in a displaying pose. He is closely followed by the female in a typical, relaxed pose with her wings hanging down. Her brood of 8 chicks follow keenly.
