This silver was made in memory of  Satao of Tsavo, the huge tusker who trajically was poached on 30th May 2014 and to honour the thousands of others also lost this way. 

It was conceived to assist in fundraising for security for the +-11 tuskers remaining in Tsavo and to raise awareness of the few tuskers left.

Each silver is:

Cast in solid silver by Just Castings, Hatton Garden, London, who have a Royal warrant

Individually hand finished by Camilla

Hallmarked by The Goldsmiths’ Company, London, where hallmarking began over 700 years ago                                

A donation from sales is made to elephant security teams in Kenya.
