”As a symbol of resilience and recovery Sefton really is an inspiration and will live long in the memory of those who knew him. The piece created by Camilla is a true testament to Sefton and I’m sure will be admired by many visitors to the College in years to come.”

Professor Stuart Reid, Principal of The Royal Veterinary College

”It has been wonderful to see this work from its beginnings and now seemingly to be meeting an old friend again. I remember Sefton for his courage and also for his indomitable spirit. For me he epitomises the finest qualities we see in our armed forces. Camilla Le May has captured Sefton’s character; she has got him right.”

Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles O.B.E., patron of the Sefton project and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Veterinary College

”We’re delighted with our commissions of the dogs in bronze.  Camilla worked very diligently on the  clay models; her dedication and attention to detail paid off, reflected in the success of the final pieces.  The combination of the lovely texture achieved and the rich and warm finish applied to the bronzes really brings them to life.”

Caroline Wild ~ Commissioned 2 dog portraits

”I knew from the moment I saw it when we came over for the first sitting, and you had just put the clay on to the armature, that it would be a great success, and it has just got better and better. Thank you so much for taking such pains to get all the details just right. I could not be more pleased with it and it will give me endless pleasure.”

Teresa Birtles ~ Commissioned a dog portrait

"It is great to have Tam at home, she looks absolutely beautiful and I am still smiling every time I pass her."

“On behalf of the California Academy of Sciences, we would like to recognize your responsive and high level of professionalism in helping us purchase a bronze sculpture of “Jackass Penguins” by Camilla Le May (through Art Parks). We requested a very quick turnaround for shipment to San Francisco and you were able to far exceed our expectation with your timely delivery. Part of the highlight for me was getting to know the artist a bit as she was out in the bush in Kenya studying lions for future works. One Saturday she emailed me as she sat in her mobile studio watching the local trackers set out in search of a pride of lions. She decided to stay put under cover since they ventured out without any weapons on foot! Camilla is a dedicated artist. Both of you were an absolute delight to work with, full of charm and character! I appreciated your patience with our decision making, your sense of humor and your attention to detail in processing and shipping! Thank you for the lovely bronze treasure!”
